Alexis Mussi
Chief executive officer

Alexis Mussi was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in May 2019. In her role, Alexis oversees and is responsible for Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center, which includes an 80 bed behavioral health unit, the Pavilion, as well as the free standing emergency room, ER at the Lakes. Previously she served as Chief Operations Officer of Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center. Alexis has been with HCA since May 2008.

Alexis holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Business and Communication from Arizona State University, and earned her Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Jason Desai
Chief operations officer

Jason Desai was appointed Chief Operations Officer of Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in July 2022. In his role, Jason oversees the operations of the emergency, department, surgical services department and other areas of the 265 bed facility.Prior to coming to Southern Hills, Jason served as Vice President of Operations for Mission Hospital, an 815 bed HCA Healthcare Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.

Jason has also been with HCA Healthcare serving in various positions since 2012, starting as a radiology intern and transporter, and working his way up Vice President of Operations. Jason earned both his Master of Science Healthcare Leadership as well as his Bachelor of Science from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. He is also a part of HCA Healthcare's Executive Development Program, class of 2022.

Blake Romero
Chief nursing officer

Blake Romero was appointed Chief Nursing Officer of Southern Hills Hospital and Medical center in August 2020. As CNO, Blake has executive oversight for all nursing and surgical operations.

Prior to Romero's position at Garden Park he served as Associate Administrator for Nursing Services at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Romero received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Excelsior College in Albany, New York and a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University.

Dr. Diana Glasser
Chief medical officer

Dr. Diana Glasser joined Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in June of 2024. Dr. Glasser brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in the medical field as a minimally invasive gynecological surgeon and OB/Gyn hospitalist.

Her extensive tenure within the HCA healthcare system over the past four years further underscores her familiarity with our organization's values and goals. Dr. Glasser's dedication to advancing healthcare is evident not only in her professional endeavors but also in her personal commitments.

Jason Schwan
Chief financial officer

Jason Schwan joined Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in July of 2024. Jason has dedicated 22 years to HCA and brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and finance.
Most recently, Jason served as the CFO of Lee's Summit Medical Center in Missouri, where he made remarkable strides in improving the hospital's financial performance.

Allison Zednicek
Chief operating officer, behavioral health

Allison Zednicek joined Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in February of 2024. With over two decades of invaluable experience in behavioral health management, Allison brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our institution.

Allison earned her Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern California, showcasing her dedication to helping others and advancing her healthcare knowledge. Additionally, she is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
