Las Vegas, NV - Southern Hills Hospital is proud to announce the official opening of its Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). To commemorate this milestone, the hospital will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, April 24th, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The new Level III NICU features state-of-the-art facilities designed to meet the needs of both babies and their families. With 15 beds, including 6 private rooms, spanning over 7,062 square feet, the unit provides ample space and privacy for families during their stay.

One of the standout features of the new NICU is the incorporation of Angel Eye Cameras, allowing families to securely access live video feeds of their infants from any remote location. This innovative technology offers peace of mind to parents, ensuring they can stay connected with their little ones at all times.

In addition to the Angel Eye Cameras, Southern Hills Hospital has also implemented an upgraded Hugs Infant Security System, further enhancing safety measures within the unit.

Understanding the importance of breastfeeding and maternal support, the Level III NICU offers on-site lactation consultants and support services to assist families throughout their journey.

Moreover, Southern Hills Hospital is committed to providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for all families. The NICU features the option for luxury suites and is surrogacy and adoption-friendly, with complimentary classes available for families and expectant mothers.

"We are thrilled to introduce our Level III NICU, which represents a significant advancement in our ability to provide specialized care for our tiniest patients," said Alexis Mussi, Chief Executive Officer at Southern Hills Hospital. "This new facility underscores our dedication to delivering exceptional healthcare services to the Las Vegas community."

The ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 24th will be attended by government officials, hospital staff, community leaders, and members of the press. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the new NICU and learn more about the cutting-edge technologies and services available.
